Our 3 week holiday, end of July, were scheduled for Woerden. Staying home, doing nothing, going day by day. 

We visited the fair at Tilburg (the largest Dutch fair with hundreds of attractions), and that was quite fun. Especially the kids talked for days about it. Quite expensive, but sure worth it. 

We went to the Zoo in Amerfoort, which was quite fun. It is a small family Zoo, with lots of child attractions. Yes, they have Elephants, Lions and Apes, but the playground attractions were the real 'hits'.  We also went to Utrecht, shopping. Guus bought his long time wanted 'Warhammer', while the kids bought a lot of toys and stuff. 

We also went to the beach (Zeeland) which was a lot of fun as well. And actually: the sun was shining!!!

As we stayed home, Marijne managed to start reading and Julianne started crawling and hands AND feet and started the standing/sitting ritual. We worked around house (redesign of the garden / small repairs on the house) and Guus played with his games and redesigned the websites. 

Some other neighbors stayed at home as well this year, which encouraged us to make the following impression to send to all the neighbors that went away.
